watching the world go by

I decided it would be nice to try and do nothing for a while. I did take my bike for multiple rides around the yard - there are some little hills if I go in a circle around the house to give my legs a work out plus just peddling on grass is hard. I didn't want to work in my studio today though. There should be at least one day a week I don't go in ( Read more... )

I felt like I was there counting cars with you. I was trying to remember if I've ever done that but I don't think so. Are we friends on FB? Being back, I am discovering that once I know someone's real name and see their families and lives, I have forgotten many LJ names. I don't forget the LJ name, or what I enjoyed about that LJ persona, I forget that it's connected to someone I know there.

This is me on FB: https://www.facebook.com/maryboden53 I don't think we ever connected there. I don't put a whole lot of stuff there. LJ is the street I live on.

When we were kids living in the house next door many times for something to do we would sit out front watching cars go by. My brother knew all the cars and would quiz me on them. I never did know them very well.

I'll friend you there if you don't mind. I am Lisa Imperfection there. I used to use my real name until my brother got out of prison. And then there was fear and depression and I retreated. When I came back it was to much less people and with that name. I adore imperfection. It's so much more interesting than perfection.

You do need one day off a week from your work, so I'm glad you took it off. I think you could go to a place with far less vehicles, though :) Though it would be good to remember the good times with your brother.

The road is pretty far from the house - so that is a good thing. But you can hear them all the time - something I guess I am used to.
