I am enjoying the book very much! And I am so glad that I can also read the backstory about your research on your LJ.

****joy****

Well, tell a friend--being self-published, the *only* way people will find out about it is through word of mouth <3

(And I started typing this before your edit--yes! I like sharing that stuff!)

I, too, struggle with this. And have tried various things to step away. Part of the issue, for me, is that I also write on this computer, so it's easy to toggle between a Word .doc and the internet. Bah. My house and my crafts suffer. Good luck!

Well, I made it from about 9am till now (lunch time) without it so it can be done! I guess I will take it one segment of internet free zone at a time. Good luck to you too - it is hard when you have a legitamate reason for being on the computer to not scoot on over to check other things. I feel like processing my photos is a legitamate thing to do and many times that is what gets me started.

Thanks! It is a big distraction for me and a lot of my social life is here on LJ! I just posted some more thoughts on it and I think realizing that it is an addiction is the first step to dealing with it.

I used to get on the internet a lot when I was studying. Well, I had to look things up. But it was a temptation to get on lj, too :)

I usually only get on the computer once a day. That is usually at night, because my computer is near a window, and the sun is too dazzling. But the last few days (when not interrupted), I have been getting on the computer in the afternoon because it has been cloudy. The days are long and I am tired by the middle of the day. I find it is a good way to have a rest.

That is great that you only get on once a day. If I could even get it down to 4 times a day I would be happy.
