Looking forward to seeing photos with your new macro converters. How come the L is backwards but the E is facing correctly? Is the E upside down?

I saw The Color Purple when it first came out and then a few years ago.

To see the letters in the order that they would be stamped on the metal the L should be on the far right, then the O, V and finally E on the far left (and you are the correct - the E is upside down!)

I didn't realize that Steven Spielberg directed The Color Purple the first time I saw it but it was very obvious this time to me that it was a Spielberg film.

Yes, very evidently a Spielberg film (… alas, I'm not much of a Spielberg fan).

ETA--but The Color Purple is gorgeous visually--I will concede that!

I do like Spielburg but I realize that it seems to me it is directed towards children/young adults. I recently netflixed Amazing Stories, the series, aired from 1985 to 87 and got a big taste of what constituted Spielburg. I got them for the grandkids to watch and they weren't disappointed even though they were pretty dated.

My cousin Jody who lives up in Alaska wants me to do a Celtic style bracelet for her. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

The stamps look like typewriter keys.

Macro photos are fun. You'll see some very interesting things!

I saw The Colour Purple a long time after it came out and I wondered what people saw in it. But yes, it was probably dated by then.
