That's my problem I guess. I just don't WANT to do it. Somehow I need to inspire myself to do it. Maybe set myself rewards for finishing parts of the task. Hmm... I like that idea.

I think I am experiencing a depression, though I hate to even use that word - sounds so dramatic. It has been over a year since mom's passing but I am still recovering from that - and that whole way of life I used to have. I was a paid caregiver for her and that income is gone so it feels a little scary at times. I feel a lot of pressure to make the jewelry thing work now - which brings on feelings of being overwhelmed on that front too. And feeling overwhelmed is not good for production! Anyway, thanks for the comment and the encouragement. I know if I just keep slogging along I will eventually get out of this "stuck" place!

Sorry to butt in, but I like this phrase ".....the present works better if I don't burden it with the future." I think I often go right to thinking of the future when I'm doing a task, and that often spoils and drains any pleasure I could be getting from it........if that even makes sense.

Yeah, you probably need to set aside some time each day for this. I'm just as bad, there's lots I just don't want to do!
Yep, you made a big move in the right direction :)
