1. Passing time sitting with mom while she drinks her morning hot coco. The cats have become much more brave since Tenzing is not here anymore. He chased them away (from the places he thought they did not belong) and they were in constant fear of him. Milo is a regular here in mom's room now. He is a big sweet kitty.

Ha - maybe it's my imagination! But I'm pretty sure she does associate me with food now so I am accepted by her. The first time I picked her up she struggled but now she is happy to crawl on me. The bearded dragons are the friendliest of the lizards. Does your son have a bearded dragon too? I had an iguana once and didn't think it ever became very attached to me.

I think animals sense a love and compassion coming from you. I really believe they know.

I know it is sad about Tenzing being gone, but it is a kind of funny scenero how the cats have now "moved up the ladder" in the house.

The picture of Sebby and Yoshi is stunning to me. I think it's the lighting, especially on Sebby's face and the adoring look he has.

And super nice picture of Milo, the new guardian of mom.

For that photo of Yoshi and Sebby I used the Lumix LX3. It is so hard to get Sebby to hold still for a photo - he purposely moves and hides so I can't get him but I somehow got this one - made him to think I was only shooting Yoshi.

Yes, I'm glad that at least Oo-tapo might have some time being "free" in the house before he gets too old to enjoy it. He's 16.

Great one of Sebby and Yoshi, too. I'm glad she recognises and likes you, now. I agree with Earthmother as to the reason why!
