Thank you - it really changed my mindset to go black and white!

makes those little ornaments look quite mysterious.

I'm thinking this is my small version of a sculpture garden.

I think these all worked out well in black and white. That was a good idea to use little figurines instead of sings - so much nicer :)

I was going to use popsicle sticks but someone threw them all away so I was looking around for something else small to use. I had planned to use the knick-knacks anyway for decorations but now they are signs too.

i like how you separated the nativity set and the beethoven? figurine. i have some plastic dinosaurs that i put in one of the flower beds. fun to use unexpected things!

I might have got the idea from you and your dinosaurs!

i love these!
so inspiring.
wonderful pictures & figurines.
i definitely need some kind of raised bed.
or something high enough so that i don't have to get on the ground.
i want what you have!!!
must go get dirt! ha.

A lot of my stuff is in pots up on boards that I laid over top concrete blocks - that would get it higher pretty easy and cheap. I got really cheap pots at Family Dollar store - you can get dirt there too.

you just gave me a wonderful idea! i have a section of fence that was cut off our fence and i could use THAT and put it atop cement blocks! it's just the right size! i do have quite a few pots already.

Oh, these are wonderful! It's hard to pick a favorite, but that hummingbird overhead is my winner! So simple and so full of life! LOVE IT!!!

I love them all in black & white . . . really suits them well.

I really like the hummingbird too. I was laying on the chaise lounge pointing the camera over my head waiting for one to fly over me.

I was really pleased with the black and white too - usually you think of garden and think bright flower colors but this turned out well.
