Are you saving the interior color as a surprise for us? Or did I miss something? Can't wait to see what color it is going to be.

Good description of the mourning doves sound. Of all the backyard birds, I like its sound the least. I like their cooing, but that other sound they make is annoying to me.

Your crayfish drawing is adorable.

I did mention the color once before but didn't make a big deal about it. It's called khaki brown. Very neutral. Like the color of cement blocks actually. Bland. And as usual I'm second guessing myself - did I choose the right color? What happened to my cinnamon-y color? I might still get a cinnamon and do some accents with it.

Oh, right, I remember you mentioning khaki, but didn't know that was your final answer. Yes, you can always add some color accents.

Love the crayfish people!
:)
I like the poem. Have you written any Haiku? I'd think you'd do really well with that form.

I always enjoy reading other people's haiku but I've never actually tried it myself. There are "rules" to it right?

Yes, but they're fairly easy. You have to use five syllables in the first line, seven syllables in the second line and five in the third line. It doesn't need to rhyme, in fact I think very few do. Try it.
