I started thinking about you and your theme yesterday of photos ("if you see anything interesting...") as I was putting it on here - maybe I was subconsciously inspired!

ha! yes!

after i posted that a few more 'looky' pictures came up. i expect they will find themselves in some other theme. i have been collecting a lot more 'drapery' ones lately, and quite a few flat abstracts, but i quite often find my theme more intuitively than that. glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks Deb - this all started with the writing group years ago - thank goodness to you all to get me started writing back then.

The LX3! I was just now admiring the photo you took of the coral blocks. The exposure was super nice - showing the texture in that bright sunlight - it turned out really well.

A truly amazing photo!

" . . . so much flakes off before it sinks in."

Excellent description of the mind as it ages.

I actually feel like I have been forgetting too much all my life - I should have starting writing when I was younger!

My new LX3 camera has a double exposure setting so you can take 2 photos, one overlaying of the other. I took the photo of my eye first and then lined it up with my hand for the next photo.
