That is strange! Reminds me of crop circles in fields put there by aliens.

btw, are you getting notification of LJ comments in your e mail? I see some others mentioning that they aren't getting notified of this.

No - I'm not getting any email notifications anymore either.

Last night there was none, but now this morning I got notified by e mail of all my comments and the replies to them. So, I guess it must be fixed.

Sorry - my comment isn't posting properly. I'll try again...

It looks to me like a snail trail (they do some odd shapes in their meanderings) and that the hail or whatever has 'stuck' to it... or not stuck to it, if you see what I mean.

The powers that be at LJ are having problems at the moment and it's messed up the notifications.

I wasn't getting any yesterday - though they are showing up on the top and bottom parts of the 'comments' page (you have to scroll down to see the ones you've posted to other people's journals)

and from last night the older comments are starting to turn up in my email and LJ inbox, so I guess they're working on a backlog.

I expect they'll sort it in time, for now, just keep an eye on your recent posts, I guess.
