I could be wrong about this, but I'm pretty sure that vaccines don't prevent the illness from happening...I thought they were to train your body to produce antibodies against a virus, which can lessen severity and/or prevent death. I.e. I don't think vaccines are a preventative or cure. Something that I wish my dad had understood, rather than needlessly lose his life to covid because he refused to vaccinate.

Right. It just makes me wonder how sick I might have been without the vaccine. That's scary.

Thanks. I'm over the worst I think. Just tired, sniffles and a cough now, like a regular cold. It's good that I can lounge in bed all I want!

At least I don't have a temp anymore. I think that's the worst. Still extra tired though. I'm glad I have nowhere to go and nothing to do. :-) Yes, she's good company!
