I was saved from myself today. I have a tendency to want to do everything, think I can do everything, not leave proper time to take care of myself and promise too much to others. I woke up with such a headache in the middle of the night last night and never really slept again after that - my eyeballs hurt so much. I had been worrying about how am I ( Read more... )

It's cool that drawing yourself can help you (maybe? sometimes?) have a better self-image :)

Many very common human features are, like, socially "frowned upon," but are perfectly natural. Soooo many people have "double chins," it really is just the way humans are built! Every once in a while I like to look at Renaissance art of women for this reason. I can look at those paintings and say, "Oh, she has small breasts compared to her hips, like me." or "She has a little belly," or "Her thighs are not straight lines, they are thicker at the tops," and it makes me happy, to know that my body looks much like that, and that it's quite normal :) :)

Seems to be a common thing - dissatisfaction with our looks. Though I seem to go through cycles with it and can forget about it most the time, thank goodness!

Yes! Thanks. I'm thinking I might get more nice tablecloths and do changes more frequently.

It's fun to watch the birds (and whatever else appears!) :-)
