Jan and Berdella took me up to the Erie Mall yesterday morning so we could find me a dress for the upcoming wedding. I hate shopping, did I mention that before? But I found a dress I did like and it felt like "me". Didn't find any shoes. Had a good time hanging out as friends even if I didn't enjoy the shopping part.

Yes, and the hardest part is finding a pair of pants that fit. I look like a slob all the time anyway so I guess I really don't care.

our nephew was getting married in Baltimore
(we were down here on the eastern shore)
the bride's family known enough to have the small wedding in the ancient cathedral
(Baltimore was the first Catholic bishops seat there is a new big fancy cathedral)
the reception was being held in a library of an artistic
society not usually available to "ordinary people"
the wedding was simple - not "swank" but the settings were
2 days before the wedding i had twisted my ankle
i could only wear heavy white athletic shoes with my sexy black dress

their daughter is about to start college
the point of the wedding is jOY
for them and everyone attending
