Give those daylilies a feeding of some liquid fertilizer in water and then keep them watered through August and they'll make it.
I keep finding the occasional little daylily on clearance sale around here and I buy them if they're cheap enough. Unfortunately they're mostly Stella's but what's not to love about a plant that reblooms as reliably as a Stella?

Daylilies are pretty resilient. But definitely mark them with sticks! lol!

oh yeah, definitely mark their location! and i second rhodielady, feed em a little, water em, and they'll come back in spring.
