Up at 4 am. Sat down and paid the real estate taxes, finally. I usually like to pay them early and get the discount for us but I didn't this year. Lost money because of that. I am sorry that you're feeling "down". Wish I could give words that could fix it, or make you see yourself for a beautiful human being, that matters, no matter what your life is like around you. It's true. Idk about you, but I find myself often wishing to be a less complex being haha. Like a cat, that sleeps in the sun and catches mice without a thought and seems perfectly happy to just BE. Meanwhile humans always wondering what our "purpose" is, whether others value us, criticizing ourselves for what we THINK we ought to be doing/accomplishing. And the truth is, none of that is important, not really.
Anyway, I just hope your mindset shifts to a better place soon. 💙

Everybody gets in those avoidist moods.
I find them depressing, too, although I'm never sure whether that depression springs from some internalized voice telling me, You're a fuck-up for not doing this but instead frittering away yr time on things you enjoy more! or is actually depression.
