What age are your hens? Ours are something like 5 years old and in late spring and through summer we're inundated with eggs- and there were only 5 hens last year. (one, dear Gandalf, died this winter).

2 hens will be 6 this spring and 3 hens will be 3. I don't expect much from the 6 year olds. They laid very little last year. The 3 year olds might do a little.
