I have to say the great commonwealth of Pennsylvania had a terrible choice in the Fetterman v. Oz race. But I would have voted for Fetterman too because Fetterman is merely "ugh!" while Oz is the fruit of the poisonous Trump tree.
Thank goodness we don't get the regular TV channels or cable TV here at our house. I was fortunate to miss most all the political ads. I'm sure they must have made Fetterman look bad. Yes, it might have been better if he hadn't been cut down a notch with the stroke but I'm hoping maybe that will help give him a stronger voice for the weak. Evidently lots of people still like him and believe in him.
A real missed opportunity for America to have elected an honest and conscientious person devoted to nothing except health and human safety who has spent their life standing firmly against the rapacious nature of corporate oligarchy.
Because it is easier when you are the corporate elite whose economy is several times that of MANY single countries... and our military industrial complex, and our global trading market and the global banking and investment systems,... all want politicians that are puppets rather than actual leaders. Leaders have a mind of their own and know how to gain honest support... which is dangerous.

NOT surprisingly, Florida is still full of retirees who get to dictate what the ACTUAL working residents of Florida have to deal with.
I hope electing Democrats in PA actually does make a difference and doesn't just represent a holding pattern.

Last night for election night we watched An Unreasonable Man, a documentary about Ralph Nader.
