These two songs brought tears to my eyes. To think of these songs being sung by her now, after having a brain aneurysm in 2015 and having to learn to walk and talk all over again...

I've always loved Joni Mitchell. Now she's a model of growing older with problems gracefully.

Joni is a favorite of mine too. I saw the postings on FB and listened to a couple tracks. Definitely brings tears to your eyes. She has made a remarkable recovery with much grace.

The last I heard, a few years ago, she was in bad shape. I'm so glad she's recovering.

She can still sing, too.

All these musicians I listened to in the 70's are in their 80;s+ now.

Or dead. I hated to see Leonard Cohen go.

The 60s and 70s would not have been the same w/o her. A very important artist. And two great songs. I included her in a post a few days ago - https://madman101.livejournal.com/tag/music%20-%20mitchell%20joni

That was a really good video. Thanks. I learned a few things. I might have known it before but I had forgotten that she had polio as a child.

Yeah, wasn't that good?! I had forgotten that, too. Now she has Morgellons Disease, or MS - or maybe both, idk. Her polio meant she played guitar differently, and that style influenced CSN, etc.
