At 12:06 am Hazel woke me up with a text: "Lunar eclipse is happening. Moon's mostly covered. I took some pics". I almost turned over and went back to sleep. I've seen them before. But after a moment I woke up for real and went outside. So Cool!

Those are great pictures of the eclipse! I'm glad you got up. I didn't mention it to you because I figured you were aware. I did look at it about 10:30 and it was just a bright ball. That was so nice of Hazel to call you about it and even nicer to know she was thinking of you.

Great eclipse photos!

We missed seeing the eclipse here - complete cloud cover, and thunderstorms for most of the night. *sighs* The British weather always does that when there's any sort of astronomical event.

Pennsylvania is traditionally a wet, rainy and overcast place too. I was pleased that we got to see it.

We were rained out down in FL, but watched someone's footage of it live on TikTok. Many people seem to have gotten great photos :)

Love those ferns! They are so weird-looking to me when they are still curly and just starting to "sprout".

I'm glad I got to see it. I've seen a couple good ones so far in my life. I think this was the reddest one though. (Probably because Earth's pollution is getting worse!)

I think ferns are very beautiful.
