New snow is so beautiful. We got about 8 inches.

I hope Hazel will like her new place. It will be good for her. It will be an adjustment for all.

I didn't realize before how much I was aware of her just being in her room and the comfort that gave me in the daytime. Just knowing where she was and that she was okay. Lots of "letting go" to be done now!

Reading the news is awful. There in NOTHING I can do about anything. But I guess it's good just to be aware anyway...

I wish you could have chickens! But your old dog ranch looks like a pretty good thing too.

The chickens are not okay! They are taking a really long time to come out and go down to the food trays. Hopefully they'll come down soon.
