A quick good morning.

Through a comment from faunhaert I got on an entry I made about alcohol inks I found out about something called gelli plates, or gel plate printing. Spent the morning researching that and now I really want to add that kind of stuff to the new book. It will be a way to add alcohol inks after I have the book bound. So I've used up my

Gel printing has been on my wish list for years! I also wanted something called a Gocco but I believe they are tricky to find these days:

I remember Gocco. I never had one.

Gel printing doesn't seem too expensive, especially if you use acrylic paints if you already have some. Just need to get a gel pad and maybe a roller.

Mary, you might enjoy https://petrusplancius.livejournal.com/ If you're not already following them. They post paintings, drawing, the are often from the 18th and 19th centuries. The photos inspire me.

And since you're FAR more driven to do something when you're inspired (I"m too lazy) you might (or might not) like these popping up in your feed.
