Oh goodness! What an interesting idea to try! I think I'm going to be ordering the rest of my supplies later today. Are the pens you got and seem to like the best Uni Posca Paint Markers? And did you get white opaque or translucent Yupo paper?
I do really like the Uni Posca paint markers. They will write on anything and they are very opaque. I got the extra fine ones. I used opaque white Yupo. I didn't realize that Yupo came in translucent.
Edit... I just now looked up the Yupo translucent and that would be so cool to use for hanging in a window. It would be beautiful!
Yes, it would give quite a different look, kind of like backlighting stained glass. I will probably order both. Tomorrow I'll be at the gallery doing interviews. It will be a long day for me, but looking forward to meeting these new artists.
My sister earthmother45 introduced me to it all. When I was down in Florida visiting her in June she wanted to have an art project that we could do together and she had bought many of the supplies we needed to get started and watched some youtubes to give us ideas. We only did one while I was there though. They seem messy. They ARE messy. But I don't mind making a mess.
