good morning daylight savings

Daylight savings didn't change the time I got up today - I still got up with the chickens, my usual Sunday alarm. I had one of those nights last night where I woke up at 1 am (after going to bed at 11) and couldn't sleep so I got up and had a cup of chamomile tea and crocheted at the dining table for a couple hours. In my country, one has to be very careful when going anywhere. It is an unforgiving country. Two people died in the first heat wave of summer over in WA recently. And one was experienced with plenty of water! So, ALWAYS tell people where you are going and preferably don't go alone!

I can understand a feeling of doom before a hot flush. Although I din't get it, I can imagine a feeling of having the bottom falling out of your stomach before it comes on. Okay, I'm going to get off this subject before I talk myself into having one!

I think that gut probably thought very carefully before cutting off his arm. It was either that or die!

I kept thinking how could he wait so long? As time went on you would know you would become weaker and not be able to do it even. You might pass out eventually. Well, I guess it takes what it takes. That was what was interesting about the story. Seeing how he handled it. He was quite clever and fit too.

Yes, that's true. But pretty radical to cut off your arm.

Old Flame told me more about it. He was familiar with the story.

It seems a whole family also passed away in that latest heatwave. A very unforgiving country, indeed!
