Jan and I had another adventure hike this morning. We weren't exactly sure where we were going at Two Mile Run but we were hoping it would lead us in a loop and we could get back again before the rain was supposed to start at 11. The path said it was called Cove Bridge Trail but it was not on the map at all. That's Two Mile Run for you - the maps

Sounds like a nice walk despite the rain! I find I don't appreciate the weather properly if I am not out in it. Especially the sun. I'm glad you got back to the car before it poured down! Funny how it always happens that way. Maybe Huey is giving you a warning :P

Yes, just looking out the window isn't near as good as being in it, unless it is below freezing! :-)

Huey is a fictional rain god mum used to talk to, as in, 'Send her down Huey!' when the rain clouds were teasing her :P

Possible from Hu, which was an original god name, not just for rain, but for everything. Very ancient. Maybe brought here by the 'Afghans'.
