overcast and beginning to get cold

It's only about 45F. And dark. It's dry though which makes me wish I wanted to get out and do something anyway. I have a car and a dog who's willing to go but I don't really feel like it. A blaa day. Thank goodness for jewelry work. I will feel useful and productive if I get something done with that.

Aww, that is sad. And such a poignant way to put it, "...a friendly chicken behind a glass wall to keep company with." She's very lucky to have a human in her life who understands that...

45F is quite cold to me!

I guess Dot can't be put back with the others, looking at a non-threatening chook in the mirror is probably the best solution for now.

Yes, after summer's warmth I'm not enjoying this cold starting up. Darn - winter is on its way in.

She is doing good for what happened to her but I'm not sure she will ever be totally healed. There are 3 spots that need healing. 2 that had the maggots and one very large one from an old injury (that I wasn't even aware of till now).
