I haven't posted much lately. Tonight seems like a good time to catch up. My biggest news is that we will be getting another dog late next month. She is at the Clarion animal shelter right now and just gave birth to 4 puppies. When the puppies are old enough to leave their mom we will get her. What's Andy going to think about Rainy! I bet he'll love her, he seems like a lover of all things.

I think they will get along great - at least I hope so! We shall see. When her puppies are gone, then she will be allowed to meet other dogs. Andy is very playful. He will want to play with her. I hope she will know how to fend him off if he gets too rough. If he finds out the other dog doesn't want to play he will back off.

I've had little Shih Tzu and Lhaso Apso dogs before and they suit my personality. I'm in love already just from meeting her for a few minutes!

OMG, what a cutie pie. I am so glad she is getting her forever home. I just happened to get into greyhounds, but I am for every single adoption, how wonderful for you!

I'm thinking you have been wanting a little dog for a while, so this will be perfect for you!

Dave certainly is an active man. I have a shed just for tools and chook feed and whatever. It's just a 'tin shed' as we call them. (Garden shed.)

Does Dave deliberately plant elder plants so it looks natural and is a resource for everyone?

Even before we got Andy, which was 2 years ago, I wanted a little Shih Tzu type dog. I am very happy with how this is turning out.

Dave does keep busy fixing and building things. Lots of things to fix around here! I would have been happy with just a prefabricated shed (metal shed) but he always likes to build things himself.

The Game Commission gives out trees every spring and these were some of the plants they gave this year, in addition to pine trees and apple trees. I'm sure he wouldn't mind if folks stopped by the road and picked some. We will probably pick some too.

Always stuff to fix! I think Dave would get satisfaction out of building the shed himself...and it will look a whole lot better than prefabricated!

That's a good thing The Game Commission is doing.
