Candy and I hiked at the Erie Wildlife Refuge today. I love these misty days. It is relatively warm today (above freezing with drizzle) and the snow has a fog over it in many places. ( Many, many (too many?) pictures HERE. )

These are positively beautiful!!! Perfect for the IR!

My favorite is the first one, Sun Hole. My eyes were immediately drawn to what looks like an osprey platform nest in the background!

Four others that I really like are Far Fog, Island Again, Apple Tree and Misty Woods!

It was such a muted gray day I thought IR would be good.

That is a martin nest box on a pole.

Beautiful - I especially like the water drops in the trees. It's not my favourite composition, but I love the textures and the light you captured.

Thanks. I wasn't even going to try to get those water drops (didn't think they would show up) but Candy asked me to try. Glad I did.
