Getting used to android after only using apple for so many years. Maybe I am exercising some brain cells and will be slower to lose them now. It's a puzzle, a game to be figured out and won. The game will be won when it becomes as easy for me to use as my old ipod. {Edited - after the grandkids were here for their egg sandwiches - thank goodness

I hate driving in the rain especially here in Houston when waters can get very high very fast . ‘Turn around, don’t drown’ is a familiar mantra here. Glad your kiddos got home safe

I felt bad about all the driving others had to do in the rain last night - though I had done my share in my own time. Right, you have flash floods out there - more so than we have around here. We just have rainy weather all the time it seems.

Apple. Microsoft. Google. The praises and criticisms they receive are primarily based on familiarity. Each says,
"the interface is intuitive" but in my opinion, intuitive is what you are familiar with. Good on you to learn something new.

It sure helps to have someone familiar with whatever you are learning. None of these systems are truly intuitive. The grandkids, for some reason, love to sing the praises of android. I can't say it is better at all, but like you say it must be familiar to them so they think it is.
