I didn't know they started making the National Parks quarters either. Pete collected all the states a few years ago and put them in the slotted folder. His dad had started doing that just before he died and Pete got the folder and continued on with it until it was finished. I just checked my purse and had one Park quarter. I see they have the inner ring on them and are easier to spot with that. I'll have to start looking for them now. When did they start making them....just recently? The one I have is 2017. Looks like you have quite a few of them!
My dad did many folders for his grand kids before he had his dementia. We had a coin/ loose change bowl on a table when he came to live with us. He never passed by it without examining every coin in the bowl. Although I knew he had completed many folders and no new coins were to be minted I never stopped him in his search to find a new coin. It brought him a joy that I knew I could not stifle .
My Mom started collecting the quarters for my daughter. I took it over when she died and completed it. My MIL was working on the quarters too. I haven't been able to find the last few quarters to complete her folder. I've seen a few of the NP quarters but, I'm not collecting them. Good luck on your collection.
That is nice you have a connection with your mom in that. I was wondering if at some point I might have to buy rolls of quarters to look through them to find rare coins.

They started the national parks in 2010 and they will finish issuing them in 2021.
There are so many cause some of those are repeats but I won't get rid of the repeats till I can compare them to see which is the best.
That's neat that Pete finished the job for his dad. He will have a nice memory.
