fun time with new lens! My fave is the one of Nancy's husband Wayne. I think I see his personality there ...

There is a playful essence in there that I might have caught. :-)

I really like the one of Sebby! I can hardly believe how much he has matured and grown up since I last saw him. I think he looks a lot like Jules, and I almost thought it was Jules when I first saw the picture! And Rossy...what a cutie!

Cool car that Jules got! The phone and back up camera are pretty neat features.

Glad you are having a good time with your new camera!

Sebby is a good looking young man! I like the tall, dark and handsome look.

I was telling him that you have a car with those features too and I thought that your car beeped when it was too close to something as it backed up. We were trying to see if his car did too and were backing up to something with Rossy watching from the outside in the back. Rossy kept saying "closer, closer, closer" and we were waiting for a beep. Finally Jules said how close now? About a half inch. Oh no! So we came that close to running his new car into something.

I love the new camera! So glad I finally got it after all this time of wanting and wanting...

Nice photos! I particularly like the one of Nancy's husband. I think it is a perfect portrait.

It will be interesting to see if his old lenses work in the DSLR. all Gyro's did on his Pentax. That's why he chose Pentax and he liked its 'true-to-colour's, too. Though I found the photos a bit dark and in need of some post-processing.

Amazing all the gadgets the policeman had on his belt!

Hooray for Jules finally finding the right car at last! I think I would appreciate the reversing picture. My daughter's vehicle has a thing that beeps when you back close to something and them it beeps faster when you get even closer.

And bah to losing something in the 'worm hole in space'. I had the same experience with some seeds today!

Thanks. I'm kind of shy about taking portraits but I'd like to do more of them.

The cop's belt must have weighed at least 10 lbs I'd guess.

It's a nice car - I'm happy for him. His previous car was a good one but too small and he never liked it that much. It might have been a blessing in disguise when it got wrecked.

I finally found it. I was looking for it to be laying on a surface somewhere but I finally found that I had hung it on the edge of a door up high with some other colorful cloth things. In plain view if I had looked up.

It's hard to take portraits. Hard to get up the courage (if you're me) and hard to melt into the background. Every time I try to take a photo of someone, even from far away, they notice and duck for cover most of the time (Except for one musician I knew, and the photo of him turned out well!). It is also a skill which not everyone has. I certainly don't. I may have had one or two occasional flukes in the past.

I'm glad Jules now has a car he likes. Too little can be annoying. I didn't know is old one was wrecked and I hope he wasn't hurt when it was.

I'm so glad you found your braided cotton yarn chord. You put work in that, so it would have been annoying to lose. I found my seeds, too. They were just where I thought they were. I guess I just couldn't see for looking! :P

Thanks! Maybe if I get more used to pointing the camera at people's faces they will get more used to it too.

It's at least 13 pounds. I took a test once in which I had to wear a vest to simulate that weight (I failed it lol).

Hmm - we were guessing 10 lbs at least. The bullet proof vest would make it even worse.
