One of Dave's friends grew shiitake mushrooms and gave us 2 gallon bags full. I have gone into one of usual modes of eating - making the same thing every day and eating it every day. I saute the mushrooms with onions, peppers and potatoes, adding eggs, stirring while the eggs cook and then melting cheddar cheese on top. I don't season it with any ( Read more... )

I adore my Keenes. I fully intend to replace them with another pair, if these eventually wear out.

Glad to hear the treatments are going okay. You seem to have lots of energy compared to many people.

These are my first Keens. I have wide feet and I was doubting at first that they could fit me since they are average width.

So far I have about the same amount of energy for around the house things but when it comes to driving I get sleepy very fast. I was trying to cut down on caffeine but I think for now I am going to go back to it just so I can get places. I am going to bed much earlier now too - 9 instead of 11.

You are getting through it. (Hugs)

I just bought myself a pair of Keenes(rose sandals). They are comfortable. I recognized yours.

Raising my hand as another Keens Shoe Lover. I have two pairs, Ky also has two. I wear them well into the winter by simply adding a pair of wool socks. When it begins to rain, they need to find a home in the closet until next spring. I think my burgundy pair are about ... 7 or 8 years old. You'll love 'em.

Those look like nice shoes!

Yay, not much more radiation to go :)

Perhaps you could look up some recipes that use those sort of mushrooms?

Your comfort food sounds delicious to me! That's a pretty nice food gift of the mushrooms. I'm thinking they would cost quite a bit to buy that many in the store!

Those shoes look pretty comfortable.

I used to get notifications when you posted something here, but have not for weeks now. I thought you hadn't posted anything so I never checked. Turns out you posted a lot!

I imagine about $30 if you tried to buy them. Really nice - perfectly clean too.

I like them a lot - plus they can get wet without problems.

I wondered why it seemed like you quit reading.
