Make plans, yes, but don't have very high expectations for them. There is a saying: as my expectations go up, my serenity goes down ( Read more... )

It's good that Dave went to see the eye doctor and found out the floaters are just a sign of aging. They can be quite annoying.
Driving is cities isn't one of my favorites things either. Road noise in a vehicle without air conditioning is loud.
Glad that you were able to nap and sleep through the night.
The courtyard looks like a peaceful place.
Take care of yourself.

I've had floaters for many years, and isolated flashes in the night when I first wake up, but Dave had neither till this big rash of both. The floaters are really obscuring his vision. But after examining his eye the doc said the retina is still attached and told him what to watch out for if it should get worse. Getting down there to see the specialist was definitely the right thing to do.

Thanks.

The goldfish picture is really neat. I love the reflection of the building in the pond.

Ah, well. Plans of mice and men and all that. I'm glad you went to Dave's ophthalmologist and Dave's eyes are all right. I got floaters when using my eyes too much when studying.

I think your fatigue might be catching up, so take it easy!

Very nice garden pics. How very nice of them to put it there. I would especially love the fish. Your photo of the birds may almost be in silhouette but bards are hard to take photos of and you got the whole family singing, which is cool!

We were afraid he might have a detached retina - when it first started the eye had nearly constant flashes. But by the next day when we finally got to the doctor that had slowed down. I'm very glad that the doctor found nothing serious. The floaters are worse than the normal ones like I have - like a cloud obscuring his vision - I hope that gets better in time.

Yes - going to take it easy - but I still want to get out and get some exercise. That might help.

I am so glad Dave doesn't have a detached retina. His floaters sound annoying. I hope they improve.

And thinking of you, too.

The courtyard looks nice - an oasis of tranquility in what no doubt can sometimes be an unsettling place. :-) *hugs*

Good luck with the project!

Thanks. We made a start of it at least. Making plans. :-)

I've had floaters for years. Mostly they are small and look and move exactly how a gnat flying by your face would look, so I am constantly swatting at the invisible gnats, especially when I'm working on the computer. But, I have got one huge one that looks like some scientific osmosis creature that lumbers past occasionally, especially when I first get up in the morning that has never changed its shape or size in years.

I like the pictures, especially the second one of the lily pads and the goldfish. Looks like a very pleasant place to relax and spend time there. Love the waterfall, too.

Me too with the floaters - I have had them for many years. But Dave has never had any - I find that strange. It's like they just came on with a vengeance with him.

Rossy has taken to wanting to accompany me to treatment everyday. I'm going to have to show him the garden tomorrow. He will appreciate the goldfish.
