Time does move very quickly now. My mother loved "Rabbit, rabbit" even when she knew I was "letting" her win.

My mother always let me win when we broke the wishbone. It was her secret little gift to me and as I grew up I realized it. She would make all kinds of faces and sounds of effort that I know now were just for show.

I'm sorry your torch gave out. By that I take it you mean blow torch? Twenty years is a good innings. It's funny how fast 20 year can go by. We ask ourselves, 'How can that thing be broken or worn out?'.

Yes, the torch I use for soldering has given up. Though I have a torch I use for enameling - it will be a good time now to do that I am thinking.

Might as well use the torch you have and do enamelling until you can replace the other one! Especially if you are on a roll :)
