going and coming

I was puttering in the basement a lot of the day and it was getting late. Finally it was nearly 7 and I thought I am going to really regret it if I don't get out and do something today.

Thanks. I love the river and the bike trail that runs beside it.

Yes, it's funny how often I don't even know where I am going when I leave the house but after I get on the road I can feel it pulling me to it.

Puttering in the basement was really working, I suspect, but I'm glad you got out and got your body moving before the day was totally gone and what beautiful sunset photos you caught. The first bench one reminded me of Kathy's 'Waiting To Be Occupied' series.

That's an odd looking snake. Looks like it has very rough scales. Very wiggly looking, too.

I thought of calling it Waiting to Be Occupied. :-)

The black rat snakes are very good at climbing - can climb trees and get into houses and attics. But it is a "good" snake - not aggressive at all and does good with it's eating of rodents. Very common around here.

Yes, that's what Kathy would have called it :)

Hmmm...with those rough scales, they would be good at climbing, and that's a good thing, seeing as they like rats. I'm so glad they are harmless and do a lot of good. No doubt they are welcome! Much like our pythons :)
