Ha! I remember reading the "rabbit, rabbit," thing in the Baby-Sitters Club books when I was a kid and it's always stuck with me. I think I'm always going to picture rabbit and rabbit mating now, that actually made me lol at work.

A good friend told me about the drawing thing years ago and I have been doing it ever since. It was only recently that I learned that it was a saying too.

Pete happened to walk by when this picture was up and said, "what is that...two rabbits doing it...what does that mean?" So I explained it to him best I could and I don't know if it sunk in or not. :))

They do! It is also something I draw the first day of every month. It is supposed to give you good luck for the month if you say the words "rabbit, rabbit" the first thing in the morning the first day of the month. But I also heard you can get the luck if you draw them, so I do.

Ah, okay. Never heard of that!

Here, in April, when we were kids we would go up to someone and say, 'Pinch and a punch for the first of the month,' and quickly say, 'White Rabbit' before they could get us back!

Even my grandkids do this with me :)

Oh that is so cute! I will try and remember it! It must be related to this other "rabbit rabbit" good luck, first of the month thing. It even has the words "first of the month" in it. .
