Lately, I have been forgetting to bring my camera and have not mastered my cellphone camera. But sometimes, I just slide through life with our looking. To me taking a photo helps me see. It may never be an award winning shot and I might not even save it. The purpose is already fulfilled. I have seen things in a different way. I am intrigued by the bumps beneath the snow. Nice thinking photo probably made without a great deal of thought. But it intrigues me.
There is a shoreline at the lake and boulders have gathered there - those are the bumps.
Me too - the camera helps me to see. Looking for interesting compositions. Not all of the photos turn out worthy of being shared but at least looking helped me "see" better.
I kind of like that first photo. The clouds are fluffy, the tree branches are shining on their top sides and the berries contrast nicely with the sky. Plus the power lines recede into the background a bit.
I also like the mounds of snow (bumps), the sunny waves one, home sweet home with the track leading back to it, and the shiny wren house. And your icicles are epic! Not something I see every day...or any day here for that matter.
