I don't enjoy political or religious talk, either, and will avoid talking about them if I can.

Maybe people are getting a little too way out with their opinions and you've just got to say something?

Yes, I guess I do think it is a good idea to voice some opinions of generosity towards others - we don't all have to be so afraid of other religions and other people.

Funny, the next day this was mentioned on the radio. I think he said something like we have to become confident in our convictions and speak up when someone goes right off the deep end with their vitriolic way out views. It's time we stepped up and sanity prevailed. I guess we'll have to step up! Luckily everyone in this town and in my family are sensible. And the discussion can get really boring when we are all on the same page. It's like preaching to the converted! Really I am very lucky :)
