This waking up in the middle of the night has become a regular thing now I guess. No toothache to blame it on this time. The med I got from the dentist seems to be doing the trick. It is a steroid called dexamethasone. But there are so many precautions about it. Luckily I won't be taking it long term - most the precautions are about long term use ( Read more... )

Funny thing about 3 am, lots of  folks seem to wake up at that time. I often awaken then as does my daughter. Just this morning a friend posted about it on FB and I was amazed at the number of responses. It's often called the "witching hour" though I do not know the significance of that. I do know I'd rather be asleep then, not much going on at 3.

I just mentioned it to my husband and he said that a couple weeks ago he was having the same thing for many days - now I remember it. Well, I hope I move beyond it too - as you say, not much going on at 3 am.

Huh, funny how our bodies get used to a routine so quickly. I hope you did get back to sleep!

Anything ending with an 'one' probably is best not to take long term.

Good to hear that the roads were good and you didn't have any mishaps.
