Good news on the table - the resin from yesterday set up well and it is nice and hard this morning. So I know it will harden in the conditions we have here - it just takes a bit longer than I expected. Dave is going to help me figure out a new configuration of boards to span the table so I can hang a wider drop cloth over it after the last pour. ( Read more... )

Oh good! so glad it all set up nice and hard.

I didn't know the resin would cover the black border, too. That will really pull it all together as one piece of work.

Did you make a post about how Dave made the curved/round black border? You've got me wanting to do something with resin now, too.

2 and a half years ago I'm sure I made a post about it when Johnny made the table for me with Mom's old mirror, but I can't find it now. Not sure what tag I put on it.

The resin cover looks really nice. Like it magnifies what is under it or something. Looks very sparkly under there.
