Glad you got one done. It is striking with the red against the silver!
Did "stupid" live in Wyattville and was friends with John? If so, I remember him as a kid. Hmmmm....so he grew up to be a bitter and judgmental person, eh?
I think he was friends with John. He lost his one leg when he was a kid in a train track accident - I always thought he was pretty cool when we were in school. Not so much anymore ;-)
As I said on FB, I love this pendant - absolutely gorgeous.
Re the rainbow photos - it shows the difference between the US and the UK. Practically no one has complained about 'marriages for all' bill. Then again, the UK isn't driven by religion anymore. People are either pleased, or don't really care. Alas, I have seen some vitriol re the ruling on LJ already, specifically on the news feeds. Such a shame - why can't we all live together?
There are so many homophobic people living around here. I don't have any in my circle of friends so I forget what it can be like but they ARE here. The kids are exposed to it all the time in their school. I am happy whenever I see progress being made. Progress comes in waves and this feels like one is coming over us right now.

I wouldn't ague with the person. I think he has his mind made up already. Although steam may come out of your ears at some of his utterances.

That's the thing - I really do not enjoy arguing with people. Some people do but I don't.

Reminds me of Ygddrasil, the Norse world tree.

Yes, I see that too - it is a very thick and craggy tree :-)
