Holy crap. Life, will you please give me a break? Sometimes I feel bad because all I do is complain in my livejournal, but this is the place where I go to let everything out, you know? If you know me in real life, I'm not good at expressing my emotions, especially negative ones. I keep them locked away until I suffer a nervous breakdown and go ( Read more... )

I know you value your independence as much as I do, but maybe if you can't work out the bills and can't find a place to relocate, maybe it would be a good idea to move back home. I know that's not something you want to do because of the hostile environment there, but maybe it'll give you some time to think about what you want to do in terms of school, jobs and careers so when you want to leave again, you won't flounder.

Maybe the universe is trying to tell you something...That where you are now isn't where you're supposed to be. That you're supposed to be somewhere where you can be secure, happier and independent.

I hope you're not offended by my advice. :)

You and your roommate need to sit down with all of the bills and find who's charges are what. If you don't even use the house phone, it really is unfair that you'd be expected to pay for it.

Every bill has a breakdown of what charges are what, so you both need to wade through that and re-evaluate who is paying what. It will never be 50/50, trust me.

I did that exact thing. The reason the phone bill is 121 is because we have to have two phone lines to have internet, because she uses embarq or something stupid like that. When I suggested that we switch to brighthouse, or another company, her response was "I'll turn off the second phone line and internet, I have a computer at work I can use."

What a bitch, excuse the 'french'. You'd be better off not living with her if she's going to use you like that.

and I wouldn't be so upset about it if I was paying for these things in the first place, and knew that I was going to be paying for all of them. Our agreement was utilities, which to me is electric and water. I didn't pay all these bills last month, which was my first full month living here, so why am I paying them now?
