I have recently decided I need to cut caffeine out of my life.  It just gives me too much grief when I try to sleep.  But getting weaned off it isn't easy.  Actually, I should really say I'm switching to decaffeinated coffee, which I know still has caffeine in it, but I'm forcing myself to adjust to that reduced amount.  As a result, I am the ( Read more... )

I wonder if anything could be made of an old wedding dress?

Apparently drinking shitloads of water helps flush the caffeine from your system and makes you less tired.

I usually drink at least 2 32 oz bottles of water at work in the afternoons, and another 3-4 glasses at night. I'm big on the water. Besides coffee and alcohol, it's about all I drink.

Try penguin mints to ween yourself off of it. That helped me out a lot.

I've never heard of penguin mints. Can you get them at the grocery store? Or drug stores?

I've seen them at drug stores while in Seattle in January, but for the most part you have to go to www.thinkgeek.com to get them .
