i feel the exact same way. about disappointments, changing friends (most of my very very good friends from last year aren't so much anymore..not all, but most. terrible feeling,) and sometimes parties make me feel empty & bland & boring. & lonely. oh and i could go on and on about boys but that just gets messy.
pero, the most fabulous part of all of this is that highschool is not going to be the highlight of your life. in fact, i don't plan on having "the best years of my life," whether it be college or highschool or the nursing home, because i plan on a good majority of them being lovely.
there is so much good, i promise.

all i really want you to know is that i understand completely
and that you don't have to pull off the grade and that i felt that way about a party this very weekend too (probably the same one)
and that my friends have changed and it sucks cause you can't really say anything because you know that if they've changed, then you probably have too
you are an amazing guy with great potential and superb things in your future
this weekend won't really matter in about a month but i can't get over it either so i don't expect you too
