Butterflies and a Lunar Eclipse

So tonight was a night of butterflies and a lunar eclipse. My aunt is a Contributing Member to the Smithsonian, so she got an invite to the Natural History Museum's preview of its new exhibit on butterflies tonight, so you guys get a few butterfly pics. Nice moon shots! We had cloud cover, but it cleared enough to see the "planets and moon triangle" thing.

Thanks, I didn't get to see the glowy part of the eclipse because clouds came in. Beautiful.

I know I mentioned this in the MM thread, Not!Twin, but these pics really are quite stunning. The first butterfly pic and the first moon pic in particular are just dazzling. Great use of color! You're very talented at photography. :)

Very pretty! I was wondering if you were taking any cool moon pictures when I was trying to get a shot with my point and shoot and failing miserably. We had nice, clear conditions here for viewing, it was just really cold!
