ughhh. i feel like hell... i think i might be getting sick. guess i just have to cross my fingers and hope that i'm not. i've got that lovely simultaneous hot/cold feeling though, and my nose is stuffed up. earlier my allergies were really freakin bad and Zyrtec didnt help in the morning so i took Claritin a few hrs ago. i hate allergies..

hahaha. well ya know, sometimes its hard to like someone who plays the part of a murderer :P but oh well. i looked up some pics of him from when he was in LOTR and other movies and i like his look in T.B.S. the best, by far.. hehe. also, its funny... one of the teachers at my mom's school is named Karl Urban... and he's maybe 50s-ish and is a science teacher and a computer dork :P he's a cool guy though - very funny. *random*

And haha@ Karl Urban (number 2). It's always funny to see real people with celebrity names. Derek from the boards told me he once had a teacher named Jennifer Garner.

I thought I was as good as you apparently are, but then when I heard the Harry Potter score I was sure it was Danny Elfman and it turned out to be John Williams. That was a real disappointment in myself, and it especially pissed me off cuz I'm not a John Williams fan (though admittedly all I know of him is his movie work)... or wasn't, until he redeemed himself with the score to the 3rd Harry Potter movie, which I thought he did some really awesome stuff with. So... yeah.

i'm not gonna say i'm like the ultimate master or anything :P i just can usually pick out the ones whose music has defining characteristics.. ya know. i do like John Williams... Harry Potter, ET, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, etc.. hehe. he always writes fun flute/picc parts... too bad i've never gotten to play the stuff myself. maybe someday ;) also, Thomas Newman is usually another easy one to pick out... he did the music for American Beauty and Pay It Forward (great movie). he seems to like using various percussion instruments (marimba) and goes for interesting/sometimes syncopated rhythms. fun stuff. others i like... Rachel Portman (Chocolat, Emma), Hans Zimmer (Gladiator), Alan Silvestri (Castaway, Forrest Gump). haha ok thats enough :D
