so, i called out today. i just.. don't feel very good... and woke up at 5am and couldnt go back to sleep and just knew that if i went in, i'd probably be in a bad mood or annoyed at everyone or something, so i just called and left a message and then proceeded to sleep in til about 11. the only other time i've called out since i started working

I've not called out sick from work in maybe 20yrs. Well, I missed about a week on disability maybe 5 years ago and before that I missed a day cause I lost vision in my eye playing hockey.

I'd be worried that if I went outside, a co-worker would see me.
