if you saw the news yesterday about the lady that got killed in new brighton..well, that happened on 21st street, i'm on 20th.   so my backyard neighbors, but several houses down.  they brought her to unity. it was crazy. can't really say much more, but yeah.

well its all official like now, next tuesday at 1:00pm the title to the house is signed over to me. 
all i have left to do is get home owners insurance and sign a bunch of papers on tuesday.

I work overnights 11pm-7am Sunday - Thursday starting today. I also have clinicals 7:30am-3pm Monday - Thursday.  Translation: see ya in august.

Well I met with the ortho guy on Monday.  It went as best as it probably could have.  I have pretty a fairly good range of motion already and everything else seems to check out.  Due to the range of motion it was apparently indicated that nothing seems to be torn so I probably won't need surgery. I suppose I should have known.. Laura (clinical coordinator) told me today I can't be in clinicals until I can lift 20 pounds with my arm.  That could be weeks. This can lead to other extremely shitty things.

I dislocated my left shoulder sliding into home at softball today.  That shit hurts, a lot. I went up to regions and got like super stat awesome treatment.  On a downer, im stuck in this shoulder immobilizer for several weeks and can't play softball.. On a plus side? well..none really, I do have perocet and was given morphine..but thats overrated ( Read more... )

Spring semester was over last week. Ended with a 3.25 or something. Graduation was tonight, luckily it was only 3.5 hours long. Only 10 weeks of summer classes with busy work and one giant test. Then...well I go for the registry. And from there, i'm not sure.. I have this feeling ill be taking a few classes fall semester, maybe several.. does it ( Read more... )

one of my monitors just died when i adjusted the screen. I'm guessing some wire shorted itself, but its not like im gonna crack it open and try and solder shit back together. I guess ill be heading to best buy in awhile..
