Every choice we make has consequences. They often are unintended and unpleasant but you either accept the consequences and move on or dwell in regret and anger. You have made some pretty drastic choices this semester and in my opinion you have gotten off pretty easy. You may not agree but you really shouldn’t be surprised. Hurt and anger distorts everything, including what is really true. It is hard to hear honesty and even harder to accept it and grow, but stagnation in denial will eventually leave you empty and alone. You are never going to change people or the way they react. All you can do is take an honest look around and within to determine if there is something about you that needs to change. I am not defending or villainizing anyone. There is too much grey. I also don’t know if you really want to hear the truth right now, you seem to be busy rebuilding burnt bridges and trying to maintain some sense of sanity no matter how distorted. But honesty will always find you whether you are ready for it or not. It is your choice to
