It's kinda like LJ without the personal blogs, just all communities, if that makes sense. :P I avoid the worst places (the MRA forums, etc) and just enjoy the fact that there are actual THREADS and not just reblogging and stuff like that.

Well, yeah. I miss conversation a TON. But I kind of always associated Reddit with ... IDK, smelly dudes in fedoras who make rape jokes?

Yup, me too. I ended up over there a few months ago because I was interested in the keto diet, and then I kinda started wandering around and exploring. It's definitely not perfect in part because it's dominated by said dudes, and the fact that you don't really have your 'own' space like you can on LJ and Tumblr. So I kinda use it as a news aggregator and a place where it's easier to read the discussions about TV shows and stuff.

I wish people would just come back to LJ, though. :(

LJ has gotten more quiet for me but not dead. Tumblr is pretty but can't hold my interest for more then ten minutes. Reddit? Not interested in cultivating a new group to chat about fannish interests. Staying here until they then out the lights. DW, too, of course!
