So, Yahoo Geocities is closing down. This doesn't really affect me, except it does - eons ago when fanfiction.net switched to not hosting porn, that's where I posted my Harry Potter porn. You know, including Hate's Sweet Seduction, my awful Hermione/Draco fic.

Wow. The first websites I made were on AngelFire and other similar sites, but all my current websites are on Geocities. But honestly? I haven't really maintained them or updated them in about five or six years at least.

Still...sad. I *still* get email from my Saved by the Bell site all the time. I'm not going to move it, though. I really don't get anything from people asking me if I have the Saved by the Bell dolls for sale and then explaining that my website is not a store and I don't have anything at all for sale. heh

though I am using the firefox add-on Scrapbook to save a copy of the website as a whole.This is a good idea. I'd love to save it just for myself to...maybe look at someday. heh I actually still have all the files for the pages, but everything is so outdated now. Jesus fuck. The geocities news is like the worst news ever to me right now. God. Almost every story on GBM from over 80 authors is hosted on geocities. I think I'm going to cry.
