Writer's Block: A Favorite Poem

 My favorite poem is El Dorado by Edgar Allen Poe.  I've always been a Poe fan.  Dad read me some poems when I was little and I was hooked.

I loved poetry from a very young age but this was the first poem that I read that made me really believe there was truly beautiful love out there somewhere.

I love poetry, but I don't ahve what I guess would be called a classical ear for it. I like what I like, and that is pretty varied. You were always the poet. I write baby poems, kids stuph, but its not very good. it does its job of entertaining the littles, but thats about it. ::Grins:: have a good day babe
